The Santa Barbara Foresters capped off their three-game homestand by erupting for an 18-1 win over the Philippines Baseball Group on Sunday at Eddie Mathews Field.

The Foresters (6-1) scored early and often in the victory, scoring four runs in the first and five in the second to build an early 9-0 lead.

After a pair of scoreless innings, Santa Barbara dropped six more runs in the fifth and added three in the seventh to round out its scoring.

While the offense was running wild, Frank Camarillo (UCSB) got the starting nod and fired four scoreless innings, allowing two hits and striking out three.

Camarillo handed the ball off to Kai’mi Kahalekai (Long Beach State), who earned the win with three strong innings of relief. Easton Tumis (Texas) then took over and struck out three in two scoreless frames to close out the win.

The Forester offense took full advantage of control issues from the Philippines’ pitching staff, drawing 14 walks to go along with three hit batters.

Sawyer Farr (Texas A&M) led the way with four RBI and two runs scored while Brady Dallimore (TCU) went 2-for-4 and drove in three runs.

Caleb Hoover (South Carolina) and Maddox Mandino (Louisiana – Lafayette) each tallied two hits, while Hoover came around to score four times.

Cole Chamberlain (Texas) scored three times, while Liam Keithley (Cal Lutheran) and Easton Moomau (UT Rio Grande) scored two times apiece.

The Foresters will be back on the road against the Orange County Riptide on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
