Santa Barbara High boys beach volleyball secured a 2-1 crosstown victory over rival San Marcos on Wednesday at San Marcos.
The Dons picked up victories at the No. 2 and No. 3 courts en route to the win, which tied them with the Royals in first place in the Channel League.
The Santa Barbara High duo of Jack Alzina and Kristian Dybdahl tallied the first win of the day over the Royals at the No. 2 matchup.
Then, the No. 3 pairing of Jasper Bell and Maddox Denver took care of business to give their team the overall victory.
The Dons will take on Santa Ynez High on Thursday.
