Santa Barbara High boys lacrosse brought the regular season to a close by rolling to a 20-2 win over crosstown rival San Marcos on Tuesday.

With the win, the Dons clinched a share of the Channel League championship with Dos Pueblos after both teams went 7-1 in league play. It is Santa Barbara High boys lacrosse’s first league title.

Flynn Chenoweth set the tone early for the Dons, scoring twice in the opening 42 seconds to take the lead that they would never relinquish.

Santa Barbara High had seven different players find the back of the net, led by a whopping nine goals and three assists from Chenoweth.

Meanwhile, Adam Stern and Vonn Forrest each recorded a hat trick, while Parker Mercado, Connor Jackson, Mason Bosma and Carter Bosma all scored en route to the win.

The Dons, who finish the regular season at 12-2, will now await their CIF-SS playoff division and first-round matchup, which will be released on Friday.
