Santa Barbara High boys water polo won both of its games at the Buenaventura Tournament on Friday, taking down Channel Islands and Cate.

Santa Barbara 17, Channel Islands 2

The Dons got a well-balanced offensive attack en route to a blowout win over the Raiders.

Nikita Kolosov, Will Stearns-Corbin, Paolo Borgioli and Lolo Russell scored three goals apiece to lead the offense. 

Also contributing were Shane Davis, who had five steals and four assists, and Sam Walker, who registered three blocks and three assists.

Santa Barbara 11, Cate 3

It was once again Russell and Borgioli leading the scoring attack with three goals in the second win of the day over Cate.

Davis turned in a solid all-around performance, collecting two goals, two assists and two steals. West Graham was the only other Don with two goals.

Jack Drown also filled up the stat sheet with one goal, four assists and two penalty shots earned. In the cage, Kolosov had eight saves.

Santa Barbara will face off against Rio Mesa and Malibu tomorrow.
