Santa Barbara High beach volleyball captured a 4-1 Channel League victory over Oxnard on Tuesday at East Beach.
“Overall the girls did a nice job executing today and staying consistent in another day of windy conditions,” Dons head coach Kristin Hempy said.
Kira Elliot and Lola Heckman cruised at the top court with a comfortable two-set win, 21-5, 21-5.
At the No. 2 court, Paylin Marcillac and Blake Saunders kept the momentum with Santa Barbara thanks to a sweep of their own, 21-11, 21-11.
After a loss at the threes, the No. 4 pairing of Lauren McFadden and Stella Peus bounced back with a 21-9, 21-15 win.
Madi Priess and Gabby Cajuste rounded out the Dons’ victory with a 21-6, 21-10 win at court five.
Santa Barbara High will head across town to take on San Marcos on Thursday at 3 p.m.
