Santa Barbara High girls golf brought its record to 2-2 with a non-league win over Hueneme on Thursday at Seabee Golf Course, a par-36 nine-hole course.
The Dons came together and ended with a team score of 294, while Hueneme carded a total score of 331.
Ceci Duarte earned her second medalist honors of the week for Santa Barbara High, shooting a match-best 49.
She was joined by teammates Hannah Mahboob (56), Jazmin Mislang (60), Camryn Quinn (61), Ava Rudd (68) and Blake Kaufman 68.
“It was our first time playing on the Navy Base golf course, on a hot muggy day. The girls persevered through the tough warm conditions,” Santa Barbara High head coach Ryan Throop said.
The Dons (2-2) will host Rio Mesa for a league matchup on Tuesday at Santa Barbara Golf Club.
