Santa Barbara High girls golf picked up a Channel League win over Rio Mesa on Wednesday at Las Posas CC in Oxnard.
The Dons combined for a team score of 292, while the Spartans ended the day at 319 on the par-36 course.
Santa Barbara High was led by Sage Malmsten, who earned the match’s medalist honors with her score of 51.
She was followed by teammates Kaya Ziets (54), Cecilia Duarte (59), Jazmin Mislang (64), Livvi Zampelli (64) and Camryn Quinn (65).
“On a new course for all our players, the girls persevered and got the win,” Santa Barbara High head coach Ryan Throop said.
The Dons (3-6, 1-2 Channel League) will take on Granada Hills on Monday at River Ridge Golf Course.
