Santa Barbara High football’s Griffin Arnold and Dos Pueblos flag football’s Brooklyn Hedricks shined on the gridiron last week en route to being named the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table Athlete of the Week.

The pairing was honored at Monday’s SBART Press Luncheon at Harry’s Plaza Cafe.

The quarterback completed 25 of 33 passes for 302 pass yards and seven passing touchdowns, setting an all-time record for touchdown passes in a Big Game and tying John Uribe (2008) for most touchdown passes in a game in program history.
Meanwhile, Hedricks was a force on both sides of the ball to help lead the Chargers to big Channel League wins over Oxnard and San Marcos
She totaled 200 receiving yards and four touchdowns across the two games on offense, and added 15 flag pulls and an interception on defense in the 2-0 week.
