The Santa Barbara Indie Film Festival has announced its complete screening schedule, and opened ticket sales for the celebration of independent film-making, Sept. 19-21 at the Alhecama Theater in downtown Santa Barbara.
The festival will showcase 41 films, including narrative and documentary features; short films spanning multiple genres (dramatic, horror/thriller, sci-fi/fantasy, comedy and animated); and a dedicated category highlighting local filmmakers.
This year’s lineup continues the festival’s mission to celebrate the art of independent and youth filmmakers while providing a platform for emerging talent.
“We’re thrilled to return to the beautiful Alhecama Theater for another year of exceptional independent cinema,” said Dave Haws, festival director.
“Our screening schedule offers something for every film lover, from compelling narratives to innovative documentaries, with special emphasis on supporting our local Santa Barbara filmmakers and the next generation of storytellers,” Haws said.
