The Santa Barbara Royals ice hockey team cruised to a 9-0 win over the El Segundo Strikers on Saturday.
Santa Barbara goaltender Dean Wendel was on fire in the victory, stopping every shot that came his way, including a second-period penalty shot.
On the offensive end, Caden Walsh, Primo Steavu and AJ Sweet each scored twice, while Walsh dished out three assists as well.
The trio of Lou Wendel, Charlie Lovette and Gavin Fernandez rounded out the scoring with one goal apiece.
The Royals will continue their season on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at Ice in Paradise.
