The baserunners were on the loose for the Santa Barbara High baseball team in a 10-2 Channel League win at Oxnard on Saturday.

The Dons stole nine bases on the day, led by Kai Mault with three.

Dane Dawson and Liam Keithley and Eric Anthony each collected multipe hits and Zeke Adderley had a RBI triple for Santa Barbara, which improved to 5-1 in league, tied for first place with San Marcos and Buena.

Keithley started on the mound and went six innings, allowing two runs on two hits and striking out three. Kike Ramirez came in in the seventh and struck out two.

Santa Barbara’s next league series is against Dos Pueblos.

The Dons are 5-1 in league.
