The Santa Barbara South Coast Chamber of Commerce, From Goleta to Carpinteria will present the annual State of the County, 3-5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8 at the Ritz-Carlton Bacara Santa Barbara.

The State of the County will feature presentations from County Supervisor Chairman Das Williams, Second District County Supervisor Laura Capps, Santa Barbara County executive officer Mona Miyasato, and UC Santa Barbara Economic Forecast Project director Peter Rupert.

The event is presented by the Santa Barbara South Coast Chamber of Commerce in partnership with all the chambers of commerce in Santa Barbara County — Buellton Chamber, Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau, Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce, Santa Ynez Chamber, and Solvang Chamber of Commerce.

The State of the County is an opportunity for the business community to gain insights into the current economy and issues being addressed in local government.
