The Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce has welcomed Jessica Rosa as its new communications coordinator.

Rosa will oversee the chamber’s internal and external communications, craft stories to highlight the community’s business and cultural landscape, and serve as the primary spokesperson for the chamber’s initiatives.

She will manage the chamber’s digital presence, including the website and social media channels, to engage members, visitors and the broader community; support marketing campaigns; coordinate media relations; and help promote local events and tourism efforts to showcase the Santa Maria Valley.

Born and raised in San Luis Obispo, Rosa is a recent graduate of Cal Poly State University, where she earned a degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing.

She brings experience working with EMPOWER, a Cal Poly-based nonprofit.
