The city of Santa Maria, in partnership with the Legal Aid Foundation of Santa Barbara County, invites community members to a free workshop focused on fair housing and tenants’ rights.
The workshop will be 5:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 5 in Shepard Hall at Santa Maria Public Library, 421 S. McClelland St.
Topics include:
• Tenant and landlord rights
• Protected classifications
• Housing violations and discrimination
• Fair housing and emergency shelters
Spanish interpretation will be available.
