A Santa Maria Mayor Candidate Forum, hosted by the Santa Maria Valley Chamber and League of Women Voters of North Santa Barbara County, will take place 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4 at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 402 S. Lincoln St.

During the moderated forum, candidates will answer questions regarding their experiences, qualifications and plans to improve the city.
 
There will be a question and answer period where audience members may submit written questions to the candidates.

Time will be available after the forum to interact with the candidates.
 
Forums are open to the public and free to attend. Seating is limited and RSVPs are encouraged. Parking is limited so early arrival is advised.
