The Santa Ynez boys scored all three of their goals in the first 10 minutes and held on for a 3-2 Ocean League win over St. Joseph to end the regular season.

Four minutes in, Aiden Tapia scored from outside the 18-yard box on a pass from Tyson González. Three minutes later, Tapia assisted on a goal by Tristan Amezcua on a corner kick. Then shortly after, Alessandro Cabrera found Braeden Melville, who assisted a cutting Gabriel Beleski for the third goal.

St. Joseph scored early in the second half on a direct free kick, and closed the lead to one after the Pirates defense made an attempt to clear the ball and deflected off a Saint Joseph player into the goal.

But the Pirates held on for the win, ending the regular season at 13-7-5 overall abd 9-2-3 in league play, good for second place behind Righetti.
