The Pirates picked up an 11-point victory thanks to the stellar all-around performance of Helina Pecile.
Pecile collected 12 points, 13 rebounds and a whopping nine steals in the win.
“Helina Pecile dominated in the first game with another double-double,” Pirates coach Jennifer Rasmussen said. “She continues to lead the Pirates with speed and presence under the basket and around the perimeter.”

The Pirates fell just short of the title, losing by three points to the Tigers.
