Sue Larsen has been elected president of the Santa Barbara Associates Board of Directors. Larsen is co-owner of Gulley & Larsen Insurance Services.
She is past president of Santa Barbara Association of Health Underwriters; served as vice president of membership for the California Association of Health Underwriters; and is vice chair, Workforce Investment Board, County of Santa Barbara.
Other newly elected board members include: vice president Lori Sullivan, secretary Jane Macedo de Veer, and treasurer Carla Long, along with directors Beverly Bakerbrown, Barbara Bartolome, Chris Bashforth, Marci Friedlander, Cheri Jasinski, Ginny Milhoan, Stephanie Olson, and Nikki Ayers, immediate past president.
Santa Barbara Associates (SBA) is one of the oldest of the women’s groups in Santa Barbara. The vision of the association is “Women in Leadership Positions – Making Connections, Sharing Expertise, Inspiring Confidence, Encouraging Growth.”
SBA holds monthly luncheons on a variety of topics of interest to its growing membership. SBA meets at the University Club.
