Jackie Estrada scored in sudden-victory overtime to lift the Santa Barbara High girls lacrosse team to a 4-3 win over Nordhoff on Tuesday at Matilija Junior High in Ojai.
“Feels good to get a win,” said Santa Barbara coach Elayne Blessing.
Charlotte Bennett scored two goals and Daisy Foreman and Estrada had the other goals for the Dons.
“Proud of my girls and how they all played, but our one player Devonian Villa Salcedo really stepped up for us today,” Blessing said. “Her passes and ground balls in the game in the end led to our victory.”
