Three players scored in the 70s, and the Santa Barbara High girls golf team placed a program-best ninth at the CIF-SS Division 2 Team Championship at the Jurupa Hills Country Club on Tuesday in Riverside County.

The Dons shot 423 as a team, led by Melia Haller’s 76. Lizze Goss and Ella Williams each shot 77, Aoife Braverman had an 89 and Zion Sada finished with a 104.

The tournament was the final high school competition for seniors Haller, Goss, Braverman and Sada. The quartet led the Dons to an incredible dual-match record of 46-1 and three straight Channel League titles over the last three seasons.

Los Alamitos won the Division 2 team title with 392 and Edison was second at 393.

In the Division 3 final at Santa Barbara Golf Club, Oak Park won the title with a 415 and Claremont was second at 429. Santa Ynez shot 503.
