The Municipal Tennis Center and pickleball courts reopened Tuesday, joining the Santa Barbara Golf Club as city recreation facilities available for public use.

Social distancing protocols will be in place at the tennis center, with details posted at the facility. Staff will ensure all necessary measures are taken, in accordance with state and local public health guidelines, said Jeff Smith, sports supervisor for the City of Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation Department. “If you plan to play at Muni Tennis, please bring all necessary equipment with you, including a mask to wear until you reach your reserved court.”
