The Santa Barbara Saints youth football program posted wins in three divisions last week.

The Freshman Santa Barbara Saints, 2-0 coming out of their bye week, knocked off the LA Ducks, 20-8, in a battle of unbeaten teams.
The Ducks came out strong on their first drive, scoring a touchdown and two-point conversion for an 8-0 lead.
The Saints finally woke up in the second half with Jakob Soriano rushing for a 50-yard touchdown. The try for the extra point failed.
Trailing 8-6 in the fourth quarter, Julian Gonzalez of the Sharks came up with a momentum-changing interception.
Nico Frausto scored a rushing touchdown for the lead. Jakob Soriano intercepted a pass and sealed the deal with another rushing touchdown and two-point conversion.
The Saints defense played lights out after the first drive of the game, with Gabriel Jasso, Trux Trumble and Adrian Sanchez combining for multiple sacks.
The game ended with another interception by Soriano.
The win moved the Saints into first place in their division.
Sophomore Saints
The Saints earned a hard-fought 18-6 victory over Simi Valley on Saturday.
The Saints were led by their defense as it scored two touchdowns. Joseph Plowman scooped up a Simi fumble and ran it in for a score and cornerback Joe DeRosa picked off a pass and returned it for a touchdown.
The defense was led by Issak Soriano and Jayce Chrestensen who held Simi Valley to one touchdown. Soriano led the team in tackles, while Chrestensen sealed the victory with an interception late in the fourth quarter.
Strong safety Henry Shiffman contributed greatly on defense with several key tackles and an interception.
Offensively, the Saints were able to put together a long second-half scoring drive against a staunch Simi defense behind impressive runs from tailback Rigby Marr.
Receiver Henry Morris and Soriano also pulled in key receptions to keep the drive going.
Quarterback Blayden Bryant punched it in from 1 yard to cap the drive.
The Saints improved to 2-2 heading into their bye week.
Junior American Saints
The Junior American Saints won 36-12 against Simi Valley behind four touchdowns from Gabe Phillips (2 receiving, 2 rushing).
Quarterback Griffin Arnold threw for two TDs and also ran for a pair of 2-point conversions in the win. Seth Orozco also chipped in a TD run and had a key interception on defense.
The Junior American Saints are now 3-1 as they head into Week 5.
