The Santa Barbara Vipers basketball club’s 7th grade boys team won a division title at a tournament at the Sports Academy in the Thousand Oaks.
The team defeated the 805 Mustangs, 45-23, in the title game of the Boys 13U/7th Grade D2 level. The Vipers lost to the same team on Saturday in pool play.
Members for the Vipers team are Ethan Nguyen, Conor Brooks, Tommy Groeninger, Jayden Lin, Jada Ahmad, Jamie Hedrick, Maxi Cisneros-Rodriguez and Logan Hale. David Palmer and Micah Jacobi are the coaches.
