The Santa Barbara XFactor 10U Baseball Club finished an undefeated 5-0 in pool play at the Reno Youth Nationals on Tuesday.
They outscored their opponents in the five games 74-9 and as a result, earned the No. 3 seed in the elimination playoffs beginning Wednesday.
The team was led on the mound by winning pitchers JP Lopez, Hudson Lang, Blake Downing, Colt Minus and Dallas Knothe.
The team has been hot at the plate throughout the tournament, with home runs coming from Knothe, Makoa Anderson, and Ryland Montgomery.
XFactor 10U players include JP Lopez, Blake Downing, Dallas Knothe, Bradley Brennan, Makoa Anderson, Ethan Caldwell, Hudson Lang, Ezekiel Martin, Xander Glover, Ryland Montgomery, Colt Minus, and Jayce Chrestenson Xfactor is managed by George Downing with coaches Justin Knothe, Ray Lopez, Darren Lang, Bryan Anderson and Tony Garcia.
