Three youth golfers from Santa Barbara won division titles at the 45th Andria’s Seafood Classic at the par-72 Rancho Maria Golf Club over the weekend.
The event was part of the Ventura County Junior Golf Association Mini Tour.
Shams Jahangir-Arshad, a freshman at San Marcos High, won the Boys Championship Division with a 7-under 137. He made six birdies in the first round and finish at 4-under 68 and carded a 3-under 69 in the final round.
Leo Metzger of San Marcos placed fifth at 5-over 149.
In the Boys 11-14 Division, Teddy Vigna beat Valencia’s Kai Miyata in a playoff to take the title. They finished tied at 8-over 152 after the regulation 36 holes. Vigna shot 76 in each round.
Abigail Kim took first place in the Girls 11-14 Division. She had rounds of 80 and 78 for a total of 158.
