Santa Barbara senior Melia Haller is the 2021 Channel League Individual Tournament champion and MVP, shooting a 77 Thursday for a 36-hole 159 at Blacklake Golf Resort in Nipomo.
She finished a stroke ahead of freshman Jayla Provance of San Marcos, who shot a 79 Thursday for a two-day total of 160.
Haller’s 79 on Thursday also brought her medallist honors for the day. Her Dons’ teammate Lizzie Goss, who was medallist Wednesday with an 80, shot an 84 to finish in third place with 164.
Rounding out the CIF individual qualifiers was Santa Barbara junior Ella Williams, who shot 86 and 91 for a 36-hole total of 177, good for fourth place.
And rounding out the first-team All League, Dos Pueblos sophomore Chelsi Ramirez shot a 90 Thursday for a total of 185, for fifth place, and Victoria Chen of Dos Pueblos shot a 94 Thursday for a total of 189 for sixth place.
