Landon Lassahn and Gavin Ross led Santa Ynez with three goals apiece in a 10-8 win at Buena Tuesday.
Addison Hawkins and Cristian Sotelo contributed two goals each, with Hawkins adding four steals.
“Hale Durbiano did a great job in goal with 11 saves, one blocked penalty shot, one steal and one assist,” Pirates coach Jake Kalkowski said.
Santa Ynez is now 8-8 overall on the season. The Pirates host Righetti at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
