A four-run seventh inning for Santa Ynez sealed a 6-4 Channel League win over Santa Barbara Thursday.

Pirates starter Jackson Cloud struck out 14 in 6.2 innings of work, giving up five hits.

The big Santa Ynez inning was helped by a two-run single from Caleb Cassidy. Vic Heredia had two doubles for the Pirates in the game.

Adam Stephens made a diving catch to end the game for Santa Ynez, which improves to 5-10 in league play and 14-11 overall.

Santa Barbara is 9-6 in league.
