Santa Barbara City College Men’s Volleyball captured a four-set victory over Moorpark City College on Wednesday at the Sports Pavilion.
The Vaqueros (7-5) bounced back from a third-set loss to earn the win over the Raiders (10-2), 27-25, 25-20, 15–25, 25-19. With the win, they moved into a tie for first place in the Northern Division.
Rocky Brazier led the SBCC offense with 36 assists, many going to Joseph Cateralli and James Walker-Ziegler, who each hammered down 11 kills.
Defensively, Tom Altankhuyag paced the Vaqueros with 10 digs while Luke Stienert chipped in nine of his own.
SBCC will be on the road against LA Pierce on Friday at 6 p.m.
