Moorpark built a 32-11 first-quarter lead on Saturday on the way to a 102-66 women’s basketball victory over SBCC at Raider Pavilion.

The Raiders, ranked No. 2 in the state, won their 12th straight game to improve to 20-1 and 3-0 in the WSC North. The Vaqueros suffered their third straight loss and fell to 12-6 and 0-3.

Sophia Torres, a sophomore from Santa Barbara High, scored a career-high 26 points and grabbed eight rebounds. She was 12-21 from the field. Alondra Jimenez added 15 points and Jada Forsdick-Stevenson had 10.

Moorpark had a plus-31 advantage in the first and third (29-19) quarters. The Raiders led 52-31 at halftime.

Jazzy Carrasco led four Raider starters in double figures with 24 points and 12 assists.
