Scott Anderson of Bakersfield was crowned the 2025 Santa Barbara Senior Open champion on Friday at Santa Barbara Golf Club.

Anderson put together a stellar three-under-par round on Thursday before following that up with a four-over-par round on Friday to claim the title.

With his overall score of a one-over-par 141, Anderson finished six strokes ahead of the rest of the field in the 36-hole, stroke-play tournament.

The trio of John Adams, Gregory Moss and Kirk Stark finished the tournament tied for second in the Championship flight at seven-over-par across the two days.

Meanwhile, Ken Kelliher placed first in the First Men’s Net Flight with his score of seven-over-par. Ramy Moharram (+8) and Frank Bucy (+10) finished in second and third place, respectively.

In the Second Men’s Flight, Michael Rice’s two-day score of 11-over-par was good for the top spot. He was followed by Bob Woods (+12) in second and a tie for third at 15-over-par by James Dougherty and Edward Wachtel.
