A small earthquake was felt in Santa Barbara County midday Thursday, just days after another one occurred.
The 3.0 earthquake was recorded at 11:27 a.m. about 10.7 miles offshore of Isla Vista, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The event epicenter was 12.3 miles away from Santa Barbara.
This is the second earthquake felt by South Coast residents this week.
The previous earthquake hit at 12:22 p.m. on Monday. That was a 2.9-magnitude temblor that hit 8.6 miles offshore Isla Vista.
No damages or injuries have been reported from either earthquake.
