It was another wet Monday morning as an overnight storm drenched Santa Barbara County.
South Coast areas — Goleta, Isla Vista, Santa Barbara, Montecito, Carpinteria — recorded 3-6 inches in the 24-hour period ending at 11 a.m., with more rain on the way this week.
Local rivers and creeks were flowing, roadways flooded, and there were numerous reports of fallen trees and downed power lines.
A Flood Watch is in effect for the region through Wednesday morning since more rain is expected, and there is a possibility of thunderstorms.
