Nearly 100 vendors will be on hand for the annual Lompoc Senior Health Expo, 9 a.m.-noon May 16 at Dick DeWees Community and Senior Center, 1120 W. Ocean Ave., Lompoc.
The event, which is free to attend, features resources, demonstrations and health screenings for older adults and their caregivers. Attendees can participate in activities; learn about nutrition and health; and enjoy a free, healthy lunch and prize giveaways.

Information will be available about Medicare, fall prevention, insurance, dementia, Advanced Directives, and scam prevention.
Among the vendors will be the Alzheimer’s Association, Nursecore, Senior Living Consultants, Gold Coast Senior Options, Behavioral Wellness Dept., Care Connection Transport Services, Friendship House, Lompoc Food Pantry, CommUnify, and Community Partners in Caring.
The Senior Health Expo is a partnership of the Lompoc Hospital District Foundation and the city of Lompoc Recreation Division, with Silver Sponsor Generations Healthcare/Lompoc Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center; and Bronze Sponsors Santa Maria Wisdom Center, Assisted Home Health and Hospice, Santa Fe Mortgage, and Central Coast Home Health and Hospice.
Supporting agencies include Lompoc Valley Medical Center, Family Service Agency, city of Lompoc, Route 1 Farmers Market, Coast Caregiver Resource Center and Lompoc Valley Community Healthcare Organization/Healthy Lompoc.
