It was another stellar season for the local high school girls tennis squads, as all seven teams reached the CIF-SS playoffs.
In those seven first-round matchups, two of them feature a pair of Santa Barbara area schools pitted against each other
Here is a look at every first-round match, each of which is set for Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m.
Division 3
The two best teams in the area will face off in the opening round of the Division 3 playoffs, as Dos Pueblos will head into Carpinteria to take on Cate on Wednesday.
The Chargers went 13-1 and captured the Channel League title, while the Rams put together a 14-1 record and won the Tri-Valley League.
These two teams met in August for a non-league contest, with Cate pulling out a tight 10-8 victory.
Division 4
Carpinteria High is fresh off a dominant 18-1 regular-season campaign that ended with a Citrus Coast League title, earning a spot in the Division 4 bracket.
The Warriors will hit the road to take on Rancho Cucamonga in the first round, which went 19-5 in the regular season and came in second in the Baseline League.
San Marcos also finds itself in the Division 4 playoffs after going 13-10 and finishing as the Channel League runner-up.
The Royals will also be away from home to begin their quest for a CIF-SS title as they take on Mark Keppel, the Almont League champion that went 12-3 this season.
Division 5
The second matchup of local squads comes in Division 5 as Santa Barbara High will play host to Laguna Blanca on Wednesday.
The Dons went 9-12 during the regular season schedule, finishing behind the other two local teams to take third in the Channel League.
On the other side, the Owls came in third in the Tri-Valley League with an overall record of 9-7 in the regular season.
Division 8
Bishop Diego rounds out the local playoff squads, earning an automatic bid after going 6-6 and earning a share of the Frontier League title.
The Cardinals will be on the road to begin the Div. 8 playoffs against YULA High, which also went 6-6 and came in third place in the Liberty League.
