Santa Barbara gained a giant among human beings when Denny Denkensohn came to live here with his family five years ago.

He was a generous man who lived by his words, “Live and Let Live.” He treated every single person he met with the same respect and dignity.

He is survived by his son Dale Denkensohn; his daughter-in-law Patrice Serrani; and two grandsons, Cole and Quinn.
