San Marcos freshman Shams Jahangir-Arshad shot a three-over 75 at The Mission Club to take medallist honors in a victory over Cabrillo in a Channel League contest Wednesday.
The Royals stayed undefeated on the season at 11-0 overall and 6-0 in league play. San Marcos won, 415-487.
Leo Metzger added a 77, Jeffrey Forster 83, Brody Ricci 87 and Holdt Gore 93 for the Royals.
“The Mission Club is always a tough course and I thought all our golfers played well,” San Marcos coach Jeff Ashton said.
For the San Marcos girls, freshman Jayla Provance shot a 41 in a non-scoring match. Cabrillo fielded just four players.
