The city of Lompoc invites residents to participate in an animal services survey and share their insights and opinions to help guide decisions about pet welfare, responsible pet ownership and services for animals.

The Lompoc Animal Services Community Satisfaction Survey, available through Sunday, Oct. 1, allows all Lompoc residents, whether pet owners or not, to have their voices heard and play a role in shaping the future of animal services in the city.

Animal services in Lompoc are currently provided by the Santa Barbara County Animal Services Department.

“Lompoc has always been a community that values the well-being of all its residents, including those with fur, feathers, or scales, and we want to hear from the community about their experiences with animal services in Lompoc,” said Lompoc Mayor Jenelle Osborne.

The survey is available online in English and Spanish at cityoflompoc.com. Hard copies of the survey are available at Lompoc City Hall, 100 Civic Center Plaza.
