It was another successful spring regular season for the growing game of lacrosse in the Santa Barbara area, and six local teams earned their spots in the CIF-SS Lacrosse Playoffs.

Three boys squads and three girls teams will represent the 805 and the Channel League in their quest for a CIF-SS title. Here are their divisions and first-round matchups

Dos Pueblos

The Chargers went 9-4 in the regular season and earned a co-Channel League championship, the program’s third straight league title. As a result, they were slotted into the CIF-SS Div. 2 playoffs.

Dos Pueblos will be on the road to open its postseason run, heading down to take on Vista Murrieta on Wednesday at 5 p.m. in Murrieta.

San Marcos’ journey for a CIF-SS championship will begin on the road as it heads down to take on Los Alamitos on Tuesday at 5 p.m.

Los Alamitos earned an at-large bid into the postseason from the Sunset League after going 10-7 in the regular season.

Dos Pueblos

The Chargers finished second to San Marcos in the Channel League standings and finished 8-8 overall to garner a spot in the CIF-SS Div. 3 playoff bracket.
