The CIF-Southern Section sent out a correction on the All-CIF girls lacrosse teams, and the revised teams effected local players.
The revision was made “due to a misplacement of certain teams by division,” said the CIF-SS.
In the update, three local players were named All CIF instead of six.
Dos Pueblos junior Avery Ball was named to the Division 2 team while San Marcos senior Sofia Martinez-Tomatis and Santa Barbara sophomore Olivia Battles were selected to the Division 3 team.
