The Solvang Chamber of Commerce will host a gathering aimed at fostering economic growth and innovation in the Santa Ynez Valley, 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Thursday, June 5 at Craft House at Corque, 420 Alisal Road, Solvang.
The event will focus on such key areas as viticulture, city insights, finances, tourism, workforce development and commercial trends, with the goal of steering the community towards a prosperous and innovative future, the chamber said.
Keynote speaker will be Danna Stroud, community-based solutions regional manager at the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz).
“As part of the broader efforts within California Jobs First, the Economic Blueprint and Playbook, along with all 13 regions, are working on activation plans to implement our respective regional strategies,” the chamber said. “Ms. Stroud’s leadership and perspective will be especially valuable as we move forward in this important work.”
The event will also host Economic Trend Panels, Visit California in Tourism, with guest speakers who are influential figures in their respective fields:
