A Solvang man has been arrested on suspicion of raping an unconscious woman two years ago.
Rick Fuette, 61, was taken into custody Wednesday by Santa Barbara County sheriff’s deputies, Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Raquel Zick said.
The 2018 incident reportedly involved an adult woman and occurred in the Santa Ynez Valley, Zick added.
Fuette was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail with bail set at $100,000.
He was no longer in custody as of Wednesday afternoon.
He is scheduled to appear in Santa Maria Superior Court on Sept. 2.
