Solvang Music in the Park returns June 22 with weekly concerts held 5-8 p.m. Wednesdays in Solvang Park, 1630 Mission Drive, Solvang.

First up on the Music in the Park schedule are the rock bands Echoswitch, and Men from Mars. Echoswitch is a local rock band that includes Solvang Mayor Charlie Uhrig. Echoswitch also opened last year’s Music in the Park concert series.

Over the years Music in the Park has provided community members a fun way to enjoy long summer evenings. Patrons are invited to set up lawn chairs and picnic blankets. and bring their own food or enjoy a meal from one of Solvang’s restaurants. Most bars and tasting rooms will be serving alcoholic beverages in closed containers, which are permitted at Solvang Park.

Aug. 24: Sound Investment – dance band

Aug. 31: Live Wire – local rock party band
