Falcon 9 launches at Vandenberg Space Force Base will resume with a Starlink mission aiming for Tuesday morning.
Liftoff of the two-stage rocket built by SpaceX will aim for 1:07 a.m. from Space Launch Complex-4 on South Base.
On Monday afternoon, SpaceX confirmed the team will have backup opportunities available until 5:03 a.m. Tuesday.
The first-stage booster, making its 19th flight, will land on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship positioned in the Pacific Ocean off Baja California.
The mission will occur days after the Federal Aviation Administration notified SpaceX on Friday that Falcon could return to regular flight operations,
The third pause in launches since July occurred after a second-stage deorbit burn after a Florida launch meant the used component landed in a different spot in the ocean than initially planned.
“The FAA reviewed and accepted the SpaceX-led investigation findings and corrective actions for the mishap that occurred with the Crew-9 mission (Sept. 28),” the FAA said.
The agency also closed investigations for the Falcon 9 mishaps that occurred July 11 following a Vandenberg launch and Aug. 28 after a Florida liftoff.
