Laguna Blanca football’s offense exploded in a 58-38 win over Calvary Chapel on Saturday.

Senior quarterback Spencer Hlavaty had a monster performance, totaling six touchdowns in the first half, which led to a 52-16 advantage at halftime.

“Our team came out running fast, we had one of our best first halves in program history,” Laguna Blanca coach Matthew Escobar said. “Calvary Chapel was well prepared, but we had several nuances to our offense to keep us one step ahead.

Of those six touchdowns, three were thrown to senior Gabe Lea and junior Sam Narva caught a pair. Hlavaty ran in his sixth score of the day.

“Spencer had one of his best games, leading the offense like a well-oiled machine,” Escobar said.

Laguna Blanca will take on Villanova Prep on Friday at 3:30 p.m.
