A project to replace three culverts near State Route 150 between Carpinteria and the Ventura County line scheduled to begin Monday, Oct. 14, has been rescheduled to begin Monday, Oct. 21.

Motorists and bicyclists will encounter one-way reversing traffic control 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday between U.S. 101 and State Route 192. Electronic message boards will be activated informing motorists to be prepared to stop as they approach the work zone. Drivers can expect delays not to exceed 10 minutes.

The contractor for this $100,000 project is Conley General Engineering of Santa Cruz. The project is expected to be complete in early November.

Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway construction zones.
