Dos Pueblos sophomore Ryan Speshyock kept Cabrillo scoreless through five innings, striking out 10, and the Chargers beat Cabrillo 11-2 in a Channel League game Friday.
Jared Williams pitched a scoreless sixth, striking out the side, and Jackson Greaney made his pitching debut in the seventh for Dos Pueblos.
Kellen Montgomery, Speshyock, Greg Marmo and Joe Talarcio all had multi-hit games for the Chargers. Greaney doubled and had an RBI, Mike Perez scored a run and got an RBI and Josiah Severson a hit with an RBI and threw a runner out at home plate in the seventh while playing left field.
The Chargers are now 10-3 in league play and 15-6 overall.
Dos Pueblos plays two against San Marcos next week, at San Marcos on Wednesday and at home Friday. San Marcos is in first place at 11-2.
