The San Marcos girls improved to 3-1 in Channel League play with a dominating sweep over Pacifica at home, 25-9, 25-7, 25-9.

Riley Green led the Royals with 10 kills, while Derin Dognachi added eight with zero errors. Elena Thomas had seven kills and Devyn Brunet five.

Mia Miller had nine digs in two games, while Katie Kracke had eight digs, also in two games. Sami Schafer came in to set, and had five digs and dished out 19 assists.

“Fun night working on various lineups,” Royals coach Dwayne Hauschild said. “Some of our starters were out ill, so other kids had to step up.”

The Royals play Oxnard on Thursday.
