Sutter Health’s new dermatology and skin cancer care services center is now open in Goleta.

The 10,000-square-foot center at 5383 Hollister Ave., Suite 140 has eight physicians, 21 exam rooms, three treatment rooms and three Mohs surgery exam rooms, according to Sutter Health/Sansum Clinic spokesperson Nicole Young.

Those eight physicians are Dr. Tamara Berry, Dr. Bret Davis, Dr. Peter Ford, Dr. Tony Jiang, Dr. Andrew Kwong, Dr. Lindsay Sklover, Dr. Jason Solway and Dr. Jessica Sprague.

“Everything inside the space is brand new,” Young said last week.

Patients can book appointments to treat a range of issues, including but not limited to acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea and infections. The center will also offer skin biopsies, cryotherapy, phototherapy, skin cancer surveillance and laser treatments, per Young.

The center’s new Mohs Micrographic Surgery Program offers a “highly specialized, tissue-sparing technique” for treating many skin cancers, Young added.

“The opening of Hollister Care Center represents a significant investment
and milestone in specialty care for the patients we serve,” said Dr. Kurt Ransohoff, president of Sutter Health Greater Central Coast.

Dr. Bret Davis, chair of dermatology, said the team is “extremely grateful for and enthused by Sutter’s exceptionally strong investment” in the department.

“We look forward to delivering highly specialized, leading-edge care while maintaining the personalized experience of a local practice at our new Goleta location,” he said.

Sutter patients can schedule appointments at MyHealthOnline or by calling 805.898.3050 or 805.681.7535.

Sutter merged with Sansum Clinic in 2023. Sutter Health, which mostly operates in Northern California, created a sixth market, the Greater Central Coast, which is anchored by Sansum Clinic facilities and services, Noozhawk previously reported.
