A live auction and special preview of the online collection from the estate of Leslie Ridley-Tree will be held held 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, at Miss Daisy’s Consignment & Auction House, 3845 State St., Santa Barbara.

A local philanthropist, Ridley-Tree designated her high-end designers’ fashion and tabletop estate pieces go to auction at Miss Daisy’s Consignment & Auction in La Cumbre Plaza.

Community members are invited to view the collection of Ridley-Tree’s designer wardrobe, handled by Louis John’s Boutique. Tickets to the event, which are $98, can be bought in the store or online at https://consignmentsbymmd.com/pages/special-events.

Guests at the in-person event will be able to participate in the live and silent auction of hats and wine at the event, with all proceeds benefiting the Cancer Foundation of Santa Barbara at the Ridley-Tree Cancer Center.

The live auction begins at 6 p.m. Erin Graffy will be offering some of the hats in the collection for guests to wear home, while auctioneer Jim Fiolek will handle the wines for live auction.

Live entertainment for the evening will be provided by Society Jazz.

Graffy, who knew Ridley-Tree well, will offer stories about some of the best chapeaus from the collection. All proceeds from the auctions will go to the Ridley-Tree Cancer Center’s Hat & Wig Boutique.

Some of the designer fashions in Ridley-Tree’s wardrobe include Dior, Hermes, Mary McFadden, Valentino, Armani, and Chanel.

Also available for purchase in the store will be a collection of china, crystal, buffet, tabletop and some home furnishings.

Once the auction goes live online the following day, June 7, on www.LiveAuctioneers.com, those interested will be able to view the fashion and tabletop collections and start bidding.

Before starting to bid and use the site, it is necessary to create an account to access the auction.

To save on shipping costs, local residents will be able to pick up the outfit or tabletop items with the winning bid at the store after June 30 with their receipt and an ID.
